Ralph and Adeline Marano host the best Metro Christmas Party yet!
 
The first snow of the season didn't deter 117 Metro members from venturing to the Spanish Tavern in Mountainside, NJ for the Annual Metro Region Christmas Party.  Hosts Ralph and Adeline Marano arranged a menu of Spanish delicacies including shrimp, lobster tail and filet mignon.  With plenty of sangria on hand, the crowd was certainly in the holiday spirit.  Our after-dinner entertainment featured a comedian who provided recollections of growing up Catholic - eliciting howls of laughter from the sympathetic crowd.
 
Region Director Bob Gluck, assisted by Grace, opened the meeting, using only 45 seconds (give-or-take) to present some lucky members with poster-size photos of themselves or their cars taken at Metro events during the year.  Bob also awarded Metro Webmaster, Pat Caruso, the Turnquist Trophy for 2005.  This award, signifying significant contributions to the club, was awarded to Pat for the development of the club's website.
 
The gift table was overflowing, the generosity of the Metro members evident.  That kept Ralph and Sonny very busy pulling winning raffle tickets all afternoon.
 
The Christmas Party was the perfect ending to another successful Metro year!  Thanks for all of your support, and we hope to see you, and your Classic, at an event in 2006!
