to the Metropolitan Region!!
The Metro Region was the proud recipient of FIVE Regional Awards,
presented at the CCCA Annual Meeting, in St. Louis, in early January,
2005. The Metro Region has received:
Bigelow Award - 3rd Place |
| This award is given in memory of David
Bigelow, founder of the New England Region. It is given each year to
the Region that demonstrated the most superior performance in the previous
year based on other Regional Awards received by that Region. |

Award - 3rd Place |
| This award is given to the Region that
demonstrated the most superior Regional membership stability and growth. |
| |
| Grand
Classic Participation Award in Memory of James Steiner - 2nd Place |
| The Steiner Award is awarded in memory of
James B. Steiner, Director of the former Buckeye Region, who passed away
in 1960. This award is presented to the Region with the best record
of participation in the Grand Classics in the prior year (computed as a
percentage of the Region's members who own Classics.) |

| CARavan
Participation Award in Memory of Stanley Tarnopol - 3rd Place |
| The Tarnopol Award was presented by
Stanley Tarnopol of Philadelphia, PA. It is awarded to the Region
which had the most notable participation in the CARavans of the previous
year (computed as a percentage of Regional members who own Classics.) |

| Turnquist
Trophy - 3rd Place to Jim Kidd - Metropolitan Skyline |
| The Turnquist Trophy was presented by Mr.
Robert E. Turnquist of Morristown, NJ to encourage and recognize superior
performance in communications through the medium of Regional
publications. It will be presented to Regions with over 100 active
members |
