Director's Message: I hope that you are having as nice a Winter as we are here. Yes, the calendar says it’s still “Winter” but it feels much more like “Spring” in central New Jersey. The plants and flowers are popping up like it’s April -- not that I’m complaining about it. At our Board Meeting on February 21st, we welcomed back Pat Caruso, Metro’s Webmaster, who was “out of action” for several months. Pat reported that he’s feeling much better, and that our website <www.metroccca.org> has been fully updated. Please “stop by” and catch up with what is happening with the region. Since it is nearly the start of the driving season, I’m hoping that everyone has their cars ready to go. On April 21st we are having a tour of the noted Kanter Auto Products and their nearby restoration shop in scenic Boonton, New Jersey. Please plan to join us as we tour through their collection of antique cars and parts, which are located in an historic 1881 silk mill. Other interesting events for the year are now being planned, and we hope to see you out on the road later this year! - Stella |
