We have had so many accolades about last year’s Black Forest Inn event during our GC 2004, and the demand to go back was so high, that Grace and Bob wondered how they could pull it off.

Metro hasn’t held its own car show in a long time, so that’s what we’re going to do – we wanted to call it a Mini Grand Classic – now we can’t – you’ll find out why, later.

The important thing is to mark your calendar right now:

Saturday, July 23, 2005, at the Black Forest Inn, Rte. 206 N. Stanhope, NJ.

The Inn is closed until 5PM, so we have the entire facility to ourselves.  The show will begin at 11:30 AM – at 1:00 PM we’ll have a luncheon buffet.  Unbelievably, we are getting many of the menu items from our GC and the all inclusive price is $32.00.  The restaurant’s facilities will be available to us upon arrival.  This will be an event not to be missed!

Naturally, the first priority is for you to drive your Classic to the show - but non-classics are certainly welcome.  We suggest setting up your own tour to and from the restaurant with friends from your area.  Let’s get these automobiles on the road and show them off!

Here’s the deal - there are three parking lots, the Classics will be on the lower level, the antique n.c.’s on the next , and for those of you in need of AC in the summertime, your SUV will be parked on the upper level.  (Please don’t be upset with the segregation, this permits us to comply with CCCA photographic guidelines.)

More details and sign-up forms will be in the next Metro Minute.
